Networking: Switch hopping versus Router to switch
I have a router with 1 WAN and 3 LAN ports and 2 switches with 8 ports, I'm wondering what's the pros and cons of setting them up as: A) Router LAN1 to SWITCH-A and SWITCH-A connected to SWITCH-B. versus B) Router LAN1 to Switch-A and Router LAN2 to SWITCH-B They are all 2.5gb ports on all ends, so I'm wondering if there are limitations or benefits to each solution.
