Why does a CUPS shared printer doesn't print as expected?
I set up a shared printer (HP LaserJet Pro MFP M28a) via CUPS (2.4.2) in Raspberry Pi OS: uname -a Linux raspberrypi 6.12.47+rpt-rpi-v8 #1 SMP PREEMPT Debian 1:6.12.47-1+rpt1~bookworm (2025-09-16) aarch64 GNU/Linux The printer is set up as IPP Everywhere and it prints via lp command (in the Rasp. Pi), but can't via a web UI: it cancels the job (given state is Print job canceled at printer. ). Also, the printer can't print via a remote host (CUPS (2.4.14), Linux manjaro 6.16.8-1-MANJARO #1 SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Fri, 19 Sep 2025 16:09:36 +0000 x86_64 GNU/Linux ), where I added that shared printer,
