iwctl doesn't work and ip link shows wlan as down
I'm trying to install Arch Linux on my laptop. However, I can't seem to turn my wlan0 to an up state and I can't get iwctl to connect to my wifi. So far, I've tried doing ip link set wlan0 up and that didn't work. rfkill didn't fix the issue, and all the other forum answers of ifconfig are all deprecated. ip link shows 1: lo: LOOPBACK,UP,LOWER_UP mtu 65536 qdisc noqueue state UNKNOWN mode DEFAULT group default qlen 1000 link/loopback 00:00:00:00:00:00 3: wlan0 NO-CARRIER,BROADCADT,MULTICAST,UP mtu 1500 qdisc noqueue state DOWN mode DORMANT group default qlen 1000 link/ether 10:f6:0a:83:4d:d4 b
