Qualcomm Atheros QCA9377 Wireless Network Adapter doesn't connect to 5 GHz higher channels

I have an Acer Aspire E5-774G notebook equipped with a Qualcomm Atheros QCA9377 Wireless Network Adapter and I would like to connect to the 5GHz hotspot of my Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. Unfortunately, the hotspot uses channel 149 and I haven't found a way to change it. The problem is that the Qualcomm Atheros QCA9377 doesn't see the wifi signal of the hotspot at all. I have deeply searched the web and I have discovered that this could be related to a hardware/firmware restriction tied to the regulatory domain (country/region) the device was designed for. That is the QCA9377 in my Acer Aspire E5
