Canon wireless printer does not work (error 0x000007d1) from one computer while it does from others

I've a Canon MB5150 wireless printer that works flawlessly from phones, tablets and a windows 11 laptop in my houshold, but on the Dell Precision 3260 desktop with win11 it throws an Operation could not be completed (error 0x000007d1). The specified driver is invalid. . I've tried it via wifi and usb connection, same result. Contacted Canon support, removed and reinstalled the drivers many times in various ways, not luck. Does not have the PostSPUpgrade regkey that some support sites refer to as to be deleted... Before buying that printer I had an older Canon model, that worked fine on win10,
