Why am I experiencing mouse macro issues on macOS?

My WLmouse Beast X Pro does not send keyboard inputs on macOS, so mapping keys to keyboard shortcuts does not work. Other mouse functions work. To clarify I used the web hub for the mouse, no third party software. I have tried many things including trying different adapters and dongles and even modifying the keyboard's plist file on macOS to manually add the VendorID and ProductID of the 2.4 ghz receiver so that I can force it to recognize it as a keyboard but did not work.
