Word 2-second delay switching input language back from another app

My mother's Windows 11 computer has 2 keyboard languages: English and Hebrew. Then: She's typing in Word in Hebrew She switches to a different app (tested with Outlook and Notepad) That app has text that switches the keyboard language to English She switches back to Word, and continues to type Result: The language remains at English for ~2 seconds, and only then switches back to Hebrew. If during these 2 seconds she types anything, it is typed in English and confuses her, especially if these are invisible English-language spaces. Question: How can I avoid this 2-sec delay?
