Removing VMware Enhanced Keyboard Driver causes USB keyboard to stop working

I am attempting a full uninstall of VMware from my computer, including all associated drivers and services. I've encountered an issue with the VMware Enhanced Keyboard Driver. When I try to remove this driver, my USB keyboard stops working due to a driver error. This prevents me from completing the uninstallation without losing my primary input device. I tried uninstalling the driver through Device Manager. After selecting Uninstall device, the process fails, and my USB keyboard becomes unresponsive.
