Hibernate Resume: How to wake on USB keyboard and not on USB mouse?
On this Windows 11 system USB Device Tree Viewer lists the HID Keyboard Device under port #6 (SONiX USB USB Composite Device) and the HID-compliant mouse under port #7 (HP 435 Mouse USB Composite Device) . Both of those ports appear under USB Root Hub (USB 3.0) which has, in the Power Management tab of properties, Allow the computer to turn off this device... enabled and checked with Allow this device to wake the computer greyed. USB Root Hub (USB 3.0) is in turn listed under USB 3.20 eXtensible Host Controller 1.20 (Microsoft) which has similar Power Management settings. As a matter of intere
