Why is my laptop's fan is running consistently high although it is cold and well within temperature range?
As briefly covered in the title my laptop's fan is running at a consistent 4900-5000rpm. I got these number from the in built sensor. The laptop's temperature is maintaining a low 35-40'C and I have never had this issue before even when facing 80-90'C. I have checked my system settings and have tried changing my fans set speed to 'whisper mode' which would typically make it slow down to a 1000-2000 rpm however it makes no difference. Also the CPU load whilst writing this is only 5% and the previous details are all also from the moment of writing which I only have Microsoft edge with a few tabs
