How to diagnose an Xubuntu laptop shutting down unexpectedly?
My Xubuntu laptop is normally on 24/7. Today it shut down unexpectedly twice. I don't see anything obvious in /var/log/syslog . I don't see dust on the air intake. The fan seems to be running. I have it propped up slightly to improve air flow. The underside is quite warm, but not quite painfully so. How can I diagnose this problem and stop it?
