What does the sticker in the bottom lid of a HP Elitebook G11 reading a code and date different than the manufacturing date mean?
An HP Elitebook 640 G11 has this sticker on the inside of the bottom lid. What does it mean? Is it there from the factory or just present on my laptop? The manufacturing date is in the middle of October according to the serial number -- not the same date as the date on this sticker. This computer could be refurbished, and the sticker could be from the that, but if so it wouldn’t be an earlier date than manufacture date.
